United States the 2011 President Cup Champions

Melbourne, Austrailia- Fred Couples and the U.S once again triumphed over Greg Norman and the

Internationals 19-15, this time avenging the 1998 loss at the same venue, Royal Melbourne .

Couples controversial selection of Tiger, and his hands off style seemed to contribute to the U.S

performance in another dominating win. Royal Melbourne proved as challenging and unique

as any venue on the planet, Mackenzie's design down under continues to validate his genius

(like no other).

Tiger Woods secured the winning point, Hunter Mahan was magnificent and Jim Furyk went 5-0, while

a few Aussie players struggled on their home turf.Robert Allenby, and Jason Day just did'nt show up,

team veteran Ernie Els also failed to perform to the level that the internationals needed.

Two time champion of the Austrailian Open: Greg Chalmers

Sydney, Austrailia - At the Emirates Austrailian Open at The Lakes Golf Club, the number 13 was in

play (and it wasn't a Friday). First, the final round took place on Sunday, November 13th . . . next,

the last time Greg Chalmers hoisted the Stonehaven Cup as Champion of his National Championship

was in 1998 (13 years ago), finally the winning score was -13.

Chalmers (69) was overlooked amongst all of the big names on a star studded leaderboard, contenders

Jason Day (74), John Senden(72), Adam Scott(68), defending champion Geoff Ogilvy(65), and ofcourse

Tiger Woods (67), who played his best golf since winning the JB Were Masters 2 years ago in

Austrailia.Woods was brilliant at times, his chip in for eagle at the par 5 fourteenth was vintage Tiger,

but he could do no better than -11 and a third place finish.

Chalmers, the 38 year old Aussie was emotional after the victory, "I am just extremely excited and

extremely pleased to have won this tournament twice," he said.

"To win it once, you can stumble into that. I can see how guys can do that. But to win it twice, with this

field, that does something for me.

"That really floats my boat and it's very exciting for me. I don't know that there's any extra gratification.

Just that I have got my name on the Stonehaven Cup twice. That's phenomenal.

"I think I stumbled into it when I was 26. I had no idea how big of a deal it was. I know more and I know

how important it is.

"I think age gives you that. You understand how difficult it is. I am not a prolific winner in golf. It's hard

to win. I have a very strong respect for that."

Martin Kaymer 2011 HSBC Champion

Shanghai, China - Martin Kaymer regained his 2010 form just in time to shoot a back nine 29, and a

-20 total to win the HSBC Champoinship at Sheshan Golf Club.Kaymer's 63 was enough for a three

shot victory over Fredrik Jacobson.Graeme McDowell bounced back from his atrocious final round last

week to shoot 67 Sunday, good enough for a third place finish (-16).

Kaymer was candid about his play,"The way I have been practicing and playing I deserved to win,"

"From the moment I holed a bunker shot at the seventh, I didn't miss a lot of golf shots."

In response to being #1 earlier in the year,"A lot of people don't realize what it takes to be #1 at

the age of 26. I was simply not used to being in the spotlight."

When asked about dealing with being #1 in the future, and if he'll know how to handle it: "For sure,

but as long as that little English one (Luke Donald) is up there, it's going to be difficult to reach that

top spot again. Luke deserves to be the No. 1."

more tournaments by doing that rather than playing your best golf the whole

week. I was very happy I was able to pull this one out."

company ISM and agent Andrew "Chubby"Chandler for the Irish company
