At the ninth edition of the grandest country club championship known as the

Tavistock Cup, the scene of this years tilt was Lake Nona.For the second year

in a row the competition was between four teams: Isleworth, Lake Nona, Albany,

and Queenwood (which is a club based in England, and is the only club of the four

which is not part of the Tavistock Group of holdings).



There is talk that other clubs from around the country might expand the competition

to six or eight teams.Sea Island the home of Davis Love, Zach Johnson, Lucas Glover

Jonathan Byrd and Matt Kuchar is rumored to be the next club added .

Lake Nona won the Cup for 4th time in a row, finishing with a total of -41, while

crosstown rival Isleworth finished 2nd at -39.Queenwood was -31, and Albany

with Tiger and Ernie finished -26.

The Payne Stewart Salver award for best individual score was a five way tie, at -5

(67)Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Robert Allenby, Ross Fisher, Thomas Bjorn.
