JT Poston Celebrates after winning at Sedgefield

Greensboro, N.C - J.T Poston fired an 8 under par 62 on Sunday to capture

the PGA Tour's regular season finale at Sedgefield Country Club. Poston did

the thinkable by completing all 72 holes without a single blemish on any of

his scorecards - four bogey free rounds enroute to a tournament record tying

22 under par (258 total score).

"I probably haven't had that many bogey-free rounds this year," Poston said.

"To be able to do four in a row is pretty special, and finish it off with a 62 on

Sunday is pretty awesome."

Despite playing error free golf thru 54 holes, Poston trailed by 3 entering the

final round. He took the lead for good with a birdie on the par-5 15th and

finished off the round with three straight pars to clip Webb Simpson (65)

by 1. Byeong Hun An finished 2 strokes back at 20 under par after a final

round 67.

The native Tar Heel summed up the day out at Donald Ross' classic venue:

"To be able to do it here in North Carolina, with a lot of friends and family,

I don't think I could have drawn it up any better," Poston said.

The win was Poston's first career victory on the PGA Tour, earning him a

spot at Liberty National for the first Fedex Cup Playoff event this week in

New Jersey.
