Brendan Todd wins the Mayakoba Golf Classic

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico - Brendon Todd won for the second time in as many

starts when he captured the rain-delayed Mayakoba Golf Classic on Monday

after a final round 3 under par 68 (Todd also won the Bermuda Championship

earlier this month in his last start).

Tied with Vaughn Taylor entering the extended week - they were among 12

players required to return to complete tournament after heavy rains at El

Camaleon pushed the event to a Monday finish. Todd made birdie on his first

hole of the day - the 15th, and was hoping to extend his lead when he missed

a short putt at the next. With only two holes remaining, he parred both of the

last two holes to finish at 20 under par. Vaughn Taylor's bid to tie at the last

came up just shy of the cup, clinching the victory for Brendan Todd.
