Duncan Wins RSM Classic in Playoff Print

Tyler Duncan celebrates after capturing the RSM Classic

St.Simons Island, Georgia - Tyler Duncan was this week's edition of the

"Cinderella Story" on the PGA Tour on Sunday at Sea Island. After making

a 25 foot putt at the end of regulation to shoot a final round 65, Duncan

rolled in a 12 footer on the 2nd hole of a sudden death playoff with Webb

Simpson - to capture his first career win on the PGA Tour.

The 30 year-old has now earned his way into the Tournament of Champions

at Kapalua and the 2020 Masters, and he knew it immediately afterwards. "I'm

just so happy to be here playing and to come out here and win is just unbelievable,"

Duncan said.

Webb Simpson (67) made a run at the title, making birdie on 15 & 16 along with

two pars to finish regulation and tie Duncan at 19 under par - setting up the

sudden death playoff.

Brendan Todd was looking to get his third straight win after taking the 54 hole lead,

but he clearly had nothing left in the tank after a final round 72.
