Review – TecTecTec’s KLYR (Mini) Laser Rangefinder

KLYR is TecTecTec’s new compact laser rangefinder, designed for those who want all of the essential features but none of the fluff. With rangefinders climbing into $400-500 pricepoint, TecTecTec went the other way with their latest innovation – offering up “Only What You Need” – value, performance, and perhaps most importantly for some, convenience.

KLYR can easily fit in your pocket, or attach to you via the magnet/belt clip that’s included. A magnetic ball marker and carrying case are also included.

Features:

– Slope

– Magnet

-Target Lock

– Pocket Size

Belt Clip

KLYR will fit nicely even in the smallest of hands, available in three colorways – black, yellow, and white.

Testing/Value:

We tested out KLYR the Friday afternoon of the show at Winter Park 9 in Orlando, the Slope and Target Lock features performed flawlessly. For the golfer who prefers to walk the links, the size/weight of the device and magnetic belt clip feature make this super convenient device the ideal laser rangefinder for the walking linkster.

Preorder pricing for KLYR is just $199 – tough to compete with everything TecTecTec has packed into this little device at such a modest price point. A value indeed.
