Read the Greens, GOLF Media was selected to promote Charlie’s new book, Arnie and Jack

SAN DIEGO, CA. – March 2, 2022 – Charlie Mechem, former Commissioner of the LPGA, author, and
a top advisor to golf legends Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, has selected Read the Greens, GOLF
Media to promote the launch of his third book, Arnie and Jack.

Read the Greens’ Director of Media Relations, Vanessa Price, and Director of Communications, Tracy
Nackel, will create and implement a comprehensive public relations campaign to launch the new
book which will be available in mid-April.

“I’m thrilled to be working with the Read the Greens team,” said Mechem. “They are well-known
and well-respected in the golf industry and I’m confident that they will successfully launch my new
book. Their collective experience, relationships, and creative ideas will be a real asset to this
project.”

Mechem’s third book is about his life and times with two of the most iconic and memorable golfers
of all time: Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. In Arnie and Jack – Stories of My Long Friendship with
Two Remarkable Men, Charlie takes golf fans behind the scenes, detailing with energy and wit —
and sometimes solemnity — why these great icons of the course excelled at both work and play.
“Charlie has had a remarkable career and has touched many lives with his wit, humor and
knowledge,” said Price. “He was one of the very few people who had a close relationship with both
Arnie and Jack and our team is excited to work closely with him to promote Arnie and Jack. We all
thoroughly enjoyed reading it and look forward to getting it in the hands of golfers worldwide.”
Information about how to pre-order Arnie and Jack will be available soon. The book is being
published by Mission Point Press of Traverse City, Michigan.
