Hokuli’a Debuts Renovated Jack Nicklaus Golf Course

Situated along the Kona Coast of Hawaii Island, the private residential Club at Hokuli’a recently launched its new golf course renovations in late 2022 to its 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. Overseeing the renovated course is the newly appointed Director of Golf and PGA veteran, Michael Haywood, who recently joined the Hokuli’a team this fall. Enhancements made at Hokuli’a include newly renovated bunkers and greens, expanded landscaping, an updated dining facility, refinished tennis courts and even the addition of new pickleball courts.

ABOUT HOKULI’A:

Featuring a Hawaii-style open-air clubhouse designed by DeReus Architects and various neighborhoods of custom-built homes and homesites allowing buyers to design their own customized home from the ground up, Hokulia spans 1,260 uncrowded acres. Spanning three miles of shoreline, the club’s residential development has been carefully planned to maximize ocean views from every home, the golf course, the clubhouse, and more.

Members at Hokulia enjoy access to the splendor of all its amenities, primed for Hawai’i adventures and relaxation, including the indoor-outdoor style clubhouse, three-lane lap pool, spa/massage oasis, Pavilion Restaurant, ocean adventures, tennis and pickleball courts, and aquatic activities.  Members can embark on hikes throughout the property and the 140-acre Hokulia Shoreline Historic Park, which offers stunning archaeological and unique geological features.

REAL ESTATE :

Among its newest real estate offerings, Hokulia released Phase 2 called “Nalu Kai,” comprised of 20 premier oceanfront lots. The lots feature commanding views and direct ocean access spanning three miles along the shoreline, with prices ranging from $4.25 million to $7.5 million. Additionally, each lot within the community comes with its own agricultural easement for farming and sustainable living—growing fruit or coffee trees are encouraged due to the exceptionally rich soil in the area. Due to its location in the Kona Coffee belt area, the largest sustainable agricultural zone in the state, and the region where world-famous Kona Coffee grows, the community enjoys consistent weather year-round.

Hawai’i Life has managed sales and marketing for the community for the past two years. Sales have been strong with around 55 sales during that time, with an average sale price of around $4-6M. There are currently around 25 homes in the process of design review or under construction.
