Introducing Sedge Village at Sand Valley

Sedge Village

You know the sublime beauty of Sand Valley. Morning sun washing over the dunes and pines. Anticipation of a new golf experience on courses that constantly reveal more of themselves. Golden sunsets and gatherings of friends at Craig’s Porch and Mammoth Terrace. You and your family may have even discovered the stillness of fresh snow in the Central Wisconsin woods.

Sedge Village features new golf, tennis, dining and entertainment venues all centered around Sedge Valley, an extraordinary Tom Doak design opening in 2024.

Sedge Village

In addition to Doak’s Sedge Valley course, Sedge Village features an extensive new collection of amenities for homeowners and resort guests. Relax with friends at an authentic smokehouse serving BBQ and craft beer. The smokehouse features an indoor arcade, a state-of-the-art interactive golf entertainment and gaming center, and an outdoor patio overlooking the world’s largest putting course.

Just minutes away via trail or shuttle, Sand Valley’s new Pool House (2023), features a year-round outdoor pool, hot tub and cold plunge and indoor sauna, steam, massage treatments and grab-and-go restaurant.

Sedge Village will also be home to the Sand Valley Tennis Center (opening 2023). The 13,000 square-foot Tennis Center overlooks 15 grass courts and is home to a tennis pro shop and bistro featuring a wood-fired brick oven. The highlight of the Tennis Center, however, is a living nod to the ancient history of the game – the country’s eleventh Court Tennis court. Learn about or learn to play the forebear of modern tennis, a game practiced by King Henry VIII and played for more than 600 years.

For many homeowners and guests, golf is the primary focus. Players will hone their games at the sprawling Sand Valley Practice Complex adjacent to the smokehouse. The Practice Complex boasts a 500-yard range, short game and putting areas and a year-round learning center with cutting-edge technology and indoor/outdoor hitting bays.

Sedge Village Homesites

Many guests at Sand Valley have decided to build cottages on property or have told us that they would be interested in spending additional time on the property if they had the opportunity. We have taken these conversations seriously and are proud to share a new opportunity for home ownership at Sand Valley. Sedge Village Estate homesites range in size from four to 30 acres. Buyers select from several existing floor plans or create a completely custom home. The building envelopes for Estate homesites allow for one to four structures on the site. Estate homeowners have the option to participate in the Sand Valley Rental Program.

Sedge Village Cottage homesites range from one-half to two acres. Five of the Cottage homesites run along the first fairway of the new Sedge Valley course, and 16 sites line a 16-acre lake surrounded by towering dunes. The Cottage sites are designed to provide comfortable space for owners and to generate income through the Sand Valley Rental Program. Our design partners – Booth Hanson, Northworks and Kubala Washatko – have created four striking new floor plans to go along with Sand Valley’s existing floor plans. The first Sedge Village Cottages will open for the 2023 season.
