On Course Foundation Golf Employer Partners Reach 45 States

(ORLANDO, Fla.) – On Course Foundation has added hundreds of new golf-employment
opportunities across 45 states as a vehicle for wounded military veterans to develop careers in
the golf industry.
The organization’s new and existing employer partners include Century Golf, Dormie Network,
Golf Pride, Invited, Landscapes Unlimited, Marriott Golf, TaylorMade Golf, Topgolf Callaway
Brands, TPC Network and Troon. On Course Foundation places its “members” in golf
marketing, sales, merchandising, food and beverage, product manufacturing, course operations
and other positions.

Using golf to facilitate physical and mental recoveries of wounded, injured and sick veterans,
and harvest newfound confidence into careers in golf, On Course Foundation conducts free
educational programs in 15 states across America. Curriculum focuses on golf playing and golf
business skills.

“Service men and women possess tremendous work ethic and discipline learned in the military
and carried to the civilian business world,” says Shauna Snyder, Military Liaison and
Employment Manager for On Course Foundation. “In a giving-back way, golf companies are
increasingly stepping up to help our nation’s heroes overcome their physical and hidden
wounds.”

“If it wasn’t for On Course Foundation, I’d be lost,” says Craig Richardson, an Air Force veteran
with an amputated right leg, left knee injuries and a shattered humerus on his shoulders. “On
Course Foundation helped me learn the game and business of golf and facilitated my
employment with Callaway, VPAR and now Baltusrol Golf Club.”
Richardson is among the more than 2,000 veterans in the U.S. and U.K. that On Course
Foundation has helped achieve physical, mental, social, professional and financial stability.
On Course Foundation’s work is propelled by sponsorships and grants from Charles Schwab,
Apollo Global Management, Barclays, CSX, J.P. Morgan, KPMG and other corporations. Golf
companies and individuals also financially contribute to the organization in salute to the military,
the game of golf and vastly improving lives which otherwise would have completely spiraled
downward.

About On Course Foundation
With offices in Orlando and London, On Course Foundation helps wounded, injured and sick
military veterans use golf to facilitate their transitions back into society. Founded in 2010 by
John Simpson – former agent to Nick Faldo and 17 major tournament winners – the organization
breathes newfound confidence into more than 2,000 members. Education focuses on myriad
facets of embarking on a career in golf with part- and full-time job placements at many top golf
companies, golf courses, clubs and resorts. Most members were first introduced to golf by On
Course Foundation where they learned playing skills, overcoming lost limbs, mobility and
mental acuity, and other physical and psychological debilitations. On Course Foundation’s
pinnacle event is the annual Simpson Cup that pits 13-person teams from the U.S. and U.K.
against one another in Ryder Cup-style matches with many competitors amazingly carrying low,
single-digit handicaps.
