Public Rec Apparel – Medinah Golf Series

Every once in a while, we come across an apparel brand that warrants attention. Recently, a box arrived from Public Rec a direct-to-consumer apparel brand based in Chicago and founded by Zach Goldstein (in 2015) which had one goal: to create pants that felt as comfortable as his favorite Jordan sweats but looked sharp enough to wear anywhere. The company is focused on creating ‘technical leisure’ wear that combines comfort, style, and versatility. We recently reviewed their Medinah Golf Series kit, which included their flagship – Dealmaker 5-Pocket Pants.

It didn’t take long for the Dealmaker 5-Pocket Pants to become the most versatile pair in my wardrobe. Long cross-country flights, and bolting straight to the 1st tee is the norm, AND what the job requires… and that’s exactly what we get from the Dealmaker – all-day comfort and style. Extremely lightweight poly fabric is durable, and stretchy, a great pair for walking the links, and into the grillroom afterwards. The back pocket zipper is a cool feature. Available in 7 colorways – $128

Also as part of the Medinah series, the “All Fore It” polo features 4-way stretch material, wrinkle-resistant pique fabric, UPF 50 sun protection, and moisture-wicking comfort. $88

The “Made to Move” belt is stretch woven and designed to be just as flexible and comfortable as the Dealmaker pants. Available in silver (shown above), black and brown. $58

To be honest, before the package arrived, we had never heard of Public Rec, now we’re bragging to anyone who’ll listen (or read). For more info on Public Rec Apparel: https://publicrec.com/
