Palm Beach Gardens, Florida – The last and only time before Tuesday night, that Jupiter Links was victorious was January 27th, 2025… in Season 1, a 4-3 win in overtime over Boston Common Golf
For all intents and purposes, Match 7 of season 2 of TGL was a drubbing by Jupiter Links Golf Club, leading 8-3 over the defending champs – Atlanta Drive on the final green, when Billy Horschel drained a garbage-time 3-point putt to make the scoreboard appear closer than it was. Final, Jupiter 8, Atlanta 6.
Jupiter Links Golf Club, arrived at SoFi Center having lost six of its seven TGL matches and each of its last five. Still, everything went the way of the home squad on Monday night. Akshay Bhatia, Max Homa, and Kevin Kisner played solidly throughout the match. For Billy Horschel, it was a reversal of fortune… he’s usually on the giving end of a loss, not the receiving side. Heading into Monday’s match, the Drive had won 9 of its 10 matches and each of its last seven.
Down 2-0 early on, Jupiter won each of the next five holes to take a 5-2 lead and have the advantage entering Singles for
the first time in TGL. Jup Links performance in the Triples format was so strong that its five points over the first nine holes eclipsed the team’s
most points scored in a single match.

In singles, Bhatia earned his first victory with a par on the tenth (The Spear). Kisner won the twelfth (Fallen Pine) with a par to earn two points to
extend the lead to an insurmountable 8-2 (after Atlanta threw the Hammer on the tee).
Atlanta’s defeat means Boston Common remains on top of the standings as the only undefeated squad. NY, LA and Jupiter
are all tied with two points.
